Albanese D&S, Inc. is founded by Giovanni Albanese and Andrea Ciano Sr. in a small office in Malden, MA, beginning as a specialist in underground utility construction throughout Massachusetts, predominately new lateral sewers.
Installation of 14,300 linear feet of storm drains and sanitary sewers around the MBTA bus terminal at Dudley Station, maintaining full access with no service interruptions, plus 6,000 linear feet of water main replacement and 110 new manholes. Completed May 28, 2015.
Emergency replacement of 5 miles of sewer force main in under six months, combining open-cut replacement with sliplined HDPE pipe within the existing line, connecting through to the Water Street Pump Station and treatment plant.
Full rebuild of the Charles Street wastewater pumping station: new submersible pump station, valve vault, flow meter vault, force main, emergency generator, and electrical controls, with excavation reaching over 32 feet deep in ledge. Completed March 24, 2020.
Installation of over 4,400 linear feet of drain pipe and 4,200 linear feet of sewer pipe through Upper Roxbury, including structural sewer lining, 45 new manholes and catch basins, and roughly 3,700 linear feet of new ductile iron water pipe. Completed December 31, 2021.
